I DON’T KNOW HOW THIS STRIKES YOU, but to me it is both funny and sad.

I can see how there can be a remnant church of dispensational, non-instrumental, foot-washing Baptists with at least some claim to a foundation in the Scriptures. Where the Red Carpeting & Cushioned Pews part came from, I do not know – unless some other group was opposed to such and these brethren insisted on their Christian liberty to have them.

That this good lady had survived 58 church splits speaks volumes about how many view sound doctrine. I hope that the narrative under the above picture is a parody and satire instead of being reality.

If this makes me sad, what must our Lord, who prayed, “that they all may be one,” feel about such division?
